Game Format Updates


Game format updates:
As we promised at the end of last year, and based on your feedback, we are "GETTING BACK TO BASICS", as a result, you will see the following changes....
6-man game format, consisting of;
1 Team Game (single leg 701)
3 Doubles of 501 (best of 3)
...3 Cricket (best of 3)
6 Singles of 501 (best of 3)
NO recycling of players, but Dummies are allowed

We will have Scoresheets and copies of the Rules/Guidelines & Schedule available for all teams prior to the start of the season

Registration Update


We had a great turnout for registration on Thursday, with 14 teams registering along with 5 new players, for a total of 103 players registered so far.
There are three teams yet to register and two of these are expected at next Wednesday's registration at Mustards from 7pm-9pm.
It looks like we have 18 teams this year (up... from 16 last year) and this is with one team not returning...so THANK YOU everyone.
We are targeting to start the season Sept.14th and I will continue to update accordingly.
We have a tentative 18-team schedule completed along with Team and Venue assignments
PLEASE NOTE: We have tried to accomodate Teams to Venue based on incumbandancy, but due to some challenges, a couple of teams will have to be re-assigned to another or new venue.

2010-2011 Dart Registrations


Attention Markham Dart League members !

 

The 2010-2011 Dart season is fast approaching, and to help facilitate the organization of Teams, Bars, Schedules, New Players and Communications, we will be holding a;

 

Darts Registration night on

Thursday August 19th and Wednesday August 25th at

Colonel Mustards

7pm to 9pm

 

As with most sports leagues, you will need to register your team for the upcoming season

 

 

Q. What do you need to do?

 

  1. Attend one of the Registration nights
  2. Sign up your team, including names and contact info
  3. Payment of $10.00 per player, minimum $60.00 per team

Note: Darts format will be based on 6-man teams, minimum

Unregistered team may not be accommodated.

We have new Bars/Venues this year so please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice of venues for your home base

 

 

League leadership team will also be present at registration for any questions
